Join us in the beautiful city of Savannah to learn from national and local leaders in the field of education who are making a difference in the lives of students , teachers and leaders. GASSP welcomes national motivational speaker and author, Mr Eddie Slowikowski, to kick off the conference on Monday, November 13th. Seckinger High School Principal and teachers will present the exciting ways to use AI as it is a school wide focus for their school. Ms Reesman, the principal, states that AI has been a game changer for teachers and they are working to teach students the correct ways to use this new technology. Dr Suzan Harris and her staff will explain a school wide SEL focus and the benefits for students who are not always successful in school. Dr Mark Wilson will share with the group what it meant to be the 2009 Georgia Principal of the Year and National Principal of the Year. Most importantly, there will be time to collaborate with other secondary school leaders from throughout the state of Georgia. Learn from one another and share ideas and strategies that will ultimately improve the education for all students enrolled in public education. November is a great time of year to step away from school for a brief time to collaborate with colleagues, laugh a little, and refuel with new ideas and strategies to use in the second semester! Breakout Award Winning Schools will share their strategies for success and we will hear from the newly named Georgia Assistant Principal of the Year. There will be a lot to do and learn in a short amount of time! Register Today and we will see you in Savannah in November!

Cancellation/Refund Policy: The deadline to cancel/request a refund is October 13, 2023. Cancellations must be in writing. A contingency cancellation policy will go into effect if we are unable to host the 2023 Fall GASSP Conference safely, according to CDC guidelines, government mandates, or similar reasons.
