ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for a powerful, one-day learning experience focused on transforming TSI/ATSI challenges into opportunities for schoolwide growth, thereby improving instruction for all students, with a strong emphasis on students with disabilities. These high-impact, workable, and easy-to-replicate action steps are designed to help your school make meaningful changes and support progress toward exiting TSI or ATSI status or avoiding identification as such.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This one-day workshop is designed for school and district leadership TEAMS. Team collaboration is essential—participants will explore the twenty big ideas, reflect on current practices, and create a realistic and workable implementation plan tailored to their specific system. Examples of school or district teams working together at this workshop include a representative from the Curriculum & Instruction Department, the Special Education Director, the School Principal (and/or Assistant Principal, if coverage allows), Instructional Coach, General Education teacher(s), and Special Education teacher(s). Please do not send teachers alone. Implementation of these ideas requires the support and partnership of central office and school administrators. Come ready to think big, collaborate deeply, and leave with a plan to make real change.A hot, catered lunch will be provided, along with snacks and beverages throughout the day. Parking is free and on-site. Each participant will also receive the laminated guide, 15 Big Ideas to Increase the Achievement and Learning of Students with Disabilities (and ALL Students).
Refund Policy for this event: Due to contracted commitments for facilities, meals/snacks, and partners, cancellations are subject to a $50.00 fee up to one week/seven days before the opening day of the event. After that, the full fee will be charged. No-shows at the event will be charged the full fee. Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to Sarah Burbach. Substitutions of people attending the conference are allowed. Please notify Sarah Burbach, G-CASE Executive Director, at sburbach@gael.org of the change so that the appropriate printing of the name badge and billing will be made.
