Description

2026 GAEL Micro-Credentialing Course: Leadership Coaching

June 16, 2026 | 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 a.m. | 850 College Station Road, Athens

2025-2026 GAEL Member Fee: $150

Non-Member Fee: $200

This course in Leadership Coaching explores how leadership potential can be multiplied through a collaborative coaching model grounded in goal setting, intentional planning, action, and reflection. Participants will examine how effective coaching strengthens self-efficacy, improves performance, enhances decision-making, and supports employees in reaching their professional goals while building trust and strengthening team relationships.

Through interactive learning experiences and real-world application, participants will engage in the practical implementation of a collaborative coaching cycle that can be immediately integrated into daily leadership practice. The course provides a clear understanding of what coaching is—and what it is not—while exploring the research behind coaching’s impact on employee engagement, growth, and retention.

Special emphasis is placed on the GROW model (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) as a structured approach to guiding coaching conversations. Participants will develop and practice core coaching competencies including committed listening, paraphrasing, and powerful questioning techniques within authentic scenarios.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds if cancellation is made within 15 days of training (May 18, 2026). Questions? Email Cindy Flesher at cflesher@gael.org.
