2027 SSTAGE Promising Promising Practices Conference

The 20th Annual highly acclaimed SSTAGE Promising Practices Conference will feature an opening session, as well as two breakout sessions, with our 2027 Georgia Teacher of the Year, Charm Mapp. 2027 TOTY Mapp will share her perspective on the importance of public education and equip educators to engage their students in formative and summative assessments to enhance their critical and creative thinking skills. Participants will also be able to easily implement “math talks”, “five-minute challenges”, “one-pagers”, “create the question”, and “rank the errors” with their students to foster a sense of collaboration and a love for learning.
Concurrent conference sessions will focus on the most promising practices for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RtI), Student Support Teams (SST), Science of Reading, Learning, and Instruction, Tier 1 Instruction, and Whole Child Supports, Mental and Physical Health, & Safety featuring elementary, middle, and high schools along with districts from around the state implementing highly effective practices with successful outcomes, and a wide array of special interest topics that are informative and practical from expert educators including several from GaDOE/ GaMTSS.

Includes an exhibit table with two chairs. Please note that there will be no designated exhibition time built into the one-day conference schedule. There are 15-minute breaks between sessions/workshops and the exhibit tables will be located in the main lobby and registration area.

2026 SSTAGE Promising Practices Conference Cancellation policy for Sponsors/Exhibitors: No cancellations or refund requests will be accepted after Decembeer 18, 2026. Cancellation requests must be in writing and sent via email to Joan Whitehead-Freeman, jwhitehead@gael.org.
