2013-2014 Special Education Leadership Development Academy (SELDA) for New Special Education Directors
Registration for all 6 SELDA meetings for NEW special education administrators is $325.00.
Registration includes Continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks and one year’s complimentary G-CASE Active membership.
Membership includes: Georgia Council of Administrators of Special Education (G-CASE), Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE), and Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). Complimentary membership is only for NEW special education directors who have never attended SELDA. These memberships alone are worth $187.00.
The purpose and focus of SELDA is to prepare NEW special education directors. Therefore, participation in SELDA is limited to special education directors within their first 3 years of service and/or the assistant to the special education director.
Veteran Special Education Administrators Needed!
We need veteran special education administrators who are G-CASE active members to assist in mentoring our new special education directors attending the 2013-2014 SELDA. There is no charge for registration. Mentors will also be provided lodging at the conference hotel and mileage, if needed. Please register now and put the dates in your calendar to attend.

August 20, 2013 Athens (12:00-4:30) (Preceding the Data Conference)
September 11 & 12, 2013 Athens (in conjunction with Parent Mentor Conference)
October 17, 2013 GaDOE Atlanta
November 13, 2013 Savannah (Preceding the G-CASE Fall Conference)
February 20 & 21, 2014 Macon
March 17, 2014 Athens (Preceding the G-CASE Fall Conference)
