Make your plans now to attend the 2016 G-CASE Fall Conference!  You won’t want to miss our outstanding keynote presenters - Jonathan Mooney, Ruth Herman Wells, and Dr. Stuart Robertshaw.

Jonathan Mooney, author of Learning Outside the Lines and The Short Bus, is a dyslexic writer and activist who did not learn to read until he was 12 years old.  He graduated from Brown University and holds an honors degree in English Literature. Jonathan is founder and President of Project Eye to Eye, mentoring and advocacy for students with learning differences.

Ruth Herman Wells is the author of dozens of books, videos and articles on helping challenged and problem students succeed in school and life.  She is the director of Youth Change Workshops and has written books for Pro Ed Publishers, one of the largest publishers of resources for challenged and special needs students. 

Dr. Stuart Robertshaw (aka Dr. Humor), Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Education at the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, and an attorney, will share his personal journey on the benefits of humor and laughter as they relate to taking care of ourselves and our students.  Dr. Humor is the President and CEO of the National Association for the Humor Impaired and will present “The Healing Power of Humor.”

The conference will also have an outstanding choice of breakout sessions all focusing on Improving Outcomes for Students with Disabilities.  Conference begins at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2nd and ends at noon on Friday, November 4th at the Hyatt Regency Savannah.

Please note our cancellation policy:  Due to commitments to our facility and partners, all cancellations are subject to a $50.00 fee up to one week prior to the event.  Beginning October 24, 2016, the full fee will be charged.  No shows are charged the full fee.  Substitutions are allowed if we are notified prior to the event.  Cancellations and substitutions must be in writing.  Please email gsmith@gael.org to cancel your registration.
