Description

2019 G-CASE Fall Conference

One Team, One Dream!

November 13-15

Hyatt Regency Savannah

You will be inspired by nationally-acclaimed presenters while sharpening your skills as an educational leader – and more specifically, a leader for our students with disabilities!

An array of excellent keynote presenters include Georgia’s own Rennie Curran, a personal development coach, author, and former award-winning professional athlete who starred as a college football player at UGA; Holly Clark, an Education Strategist from San Diego who is a Google Certified Innovator, National Board Certified Teacher, and author; Aaron Sadoff, Wisconsin’s State Superintendent of the Year, who is a trained presenter with the International Thought Leader Network (“The Happiness Advantage” and “Leading Positive Change”); and best-selling author and award-winning documentary filmmaker Kevin Hines, receiver of Mental Health America’s highest honor for his efforts to improve the lives and attitudes toward people with mental illnesses.  Zelphine SmithDixon, State Director for the Division for Special Education at the GaDOE, will provide statewide initiatives, outcomes, and updates, and the conference will conclude with an important legal update from Harben, Hartley, and Hawkins.

Breakout sessions for this year’s conference will highlight exemplary practices used in our own Georgia systems along with more in-depth continuations from several of our keynote presentations.  Different, fun, new, and meaningful activities along with special sponsors, vendors, and exhibits will be scattered throughout the conference, as well!  This conference has been designed for YOU and YOUR TEAM!

Early bird conference pricing in effect through September 3.
