Join us face-to-face for a one-day Drive-In Conference in Winder, GA (thirty minutes from Athens) to learn practical, useful, timely, advanced, and needed information.
The IDEAL CANDIDATES to attend this one-day conference are Coordinators, Program Managers, and Specialists; as well as new hires for the next school year at this level.
Possible Topics: Financial/Budget/Allotments; Portal; MOE; Building Relationships; How to talk to Parents, Teachers, and Administrators; Personnel/Human Resources; the Perfect IEP/Documentation/Meeting; interviewing skills; Compliance/ Due Process/Mediation/Formal Complaints/Dispute Resolution; MDRs; Data Collecting/Reporting/ Interpreting; Comprehensive Child-Find; Private Schools; allotments; projections….

Cancellation Policy: Due to contracted commitments for facilities, meals/snacks, and partners, cancellations are subject to a $50.00 fee up to one week/seven days before the opening day of the event. After that, the full fee will be charged. No-shows at the event will be charged the full fee. Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to Sarah Burbach (sburbach@gael.org) Substitutions of persons attending the conference are allowed. Please notify Sarah Burbach, G-CASE Executive Director, at sburbach@gael.org of the change so that the appropriate printing of the name badge and billing will be made.
In the event that the conference is unable to be held face-to-face safely due to COVID-19, severe weather, or other large-scale emergencies or acts of Mother Nature, we will not cancel the content of the conference. Instead, general session topics will be presented virtually at dates to be announced, with fees reduced accordingly. The information shared with our Coordinators is important! Professional Learning will go on!
