✅ Strategies for sustained improvement
✅ Steps to avoid TSI/ATSI identification
✅ Tools to improve instruction for all students
Who Should Attend? This one-day workshop is designed for school and district leadership TEAMS. Team collaboration is essential: participants will explore the 20 big ideas, reflect on current practices, and create a realistic, workable implementation plan tailored to their specific system. Examples of school or district teams working together at this workshop include a representative from the Curriculum & Instruction Department, the Special Education Director, the School Principal (and/or Assistant Principal, if coverage allows), Instructional Coach, General Education teacher(s), and Special Education teacher(s). Please do not send teachers alone. Implementation of these ideas requires the support and partnership of central office and school administrators.
Come ready to think big, collaborate deeply, and leave with a plan to make real change.
Included in your registration: A hot, catered lunch will be provided, along with snacks and beverages throughout the day. Parking is free and on-site. Each participant will also receive the laminated guide, 15 Big Ideas to Increase the Achievement and Learning of Students with Disabilities (and ALL Students).
Refund Policy for this event: Due to contracted commitments for facilities, meals/snacks, and partners, cancellations are subject to a $50.00 fee up to 1 week (7 days) before the event's opening day. After that, the full fee will be charged. No-shows at the event will be charged the full fee. Cancellations must be in writing and emailed to Sarah Burbach, G-CASE Executive Director. Substitutions of people attending the conference are allowed. Please notify Sarah Burbach, G-CASE Executive Director (sburbach@gael.org) of the change so that the appropriate printing for the name badge and billing can be made.
