All conference registrations include complimentary GAEL membership and one Affiliate membership for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. Attendee registration also includes the Sunday evening reception and Low Country Boil, and breakfast and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Also included is the GAEL Family Fun night at SummerWaves on Monday and the Beach Run on Tuesday.
Conference prices vary depending on your choice of affiliate membership; please choose the affiliate that is specifically designed for your school position. (Explanations of GAEL affiliate acronyms - GAESP, GACIS etc - can be found on the GAEL website).
Summer GAEL Safety Guidelines
Sign up is required for the Sunday evening dinner. Everyone attending the Sunday Evening Low Country Boil must have a ticket OR a registration badge. There is an added charge for tickets for additional adults and children for the Sunday dinner.

*Please note our special cancellation policy for the 2020 Summer Conference:
- If we are unable to host the summer conference safely due to CDC guidelines, government mandates, or similar reasons, NO CANCELLATION PENALTY will be assessed for the conference portion of the registration fee. In the case of a conference cancellation, registrants will receive a full credit for the Winter Conference in 2021. If you desire a refund instead of a credit, we will honor that request, and GAEL will only retain a $125.00 fee if necessary to preserve your benefits of a full 2020-2021 annual membership in GAEL (Investing in the future of GA and Public Education, Weekly Support and Leadership Communication, Daily advocacy on your behalf at the Capitol in 2021 during the General Assembly, Professional Learning Opportunities for Growth and Networking).
We will also retain the fee you selected for annual membership in your specific GAEL affiliate organization (GAESP, GAMSP, GASSP, GASPA, G-CASE, or GACIS).
- If we are safely and legally able to host the conference, our normal cancellation policy will be in place. Due to commitments to our facilities and partners, a cancellation fee of $75.00 will be charged up to July 3 for all cancellations. After July 3, the full fee will be charged. No-shows at the conference will be charged the full fee. Cancellations MUST be in writing. Please email gsmith@gael.org to cancel.
