You will enjoy spending time with Jeff Butler, our keynote speaker, as he presents Maximizing Millennial Tenure and Leveraging their Potential.  Jeff Butler is a speaker, author and passionate millennial who helps organizations improve their retention of millennial employees.  Jeff has been in the trenches of what it means to be a millennial and what it takes to retain and keep them engaged.  Butler has quickly built his reputation as a memorable presenter with tangible solutions for attracting, retaining, and engaging Millennials as employees.  He is the author of two books The Authentic Workplace and The Key to the New You.

Phil Hartley will be presenting an always informative legal issues update.  The Professional Standards Commission will provide important certification updates.   Karen Wyler and Kathy Reese of the Georgia Department of Education will be presenting a session on Support from the Start:  P20 Partnerships and Collaborating to Support Induction Phase Educators and their Mentors. 

A Pre-Conference Session is planned – All about Personnel Records – What to keep, how long to keep them, and open records request.  This session will be led by Randy Howard, Bibb County Schools’ In-House Attorney. 

A continental breakfast and a box lunch will be available for those who attend the pre-conference session.   

Other sessions will include Induction Programs and Retention Strategies, You cannot Lead if you do not Stick Around:  Developing Longevity as a Leader, Managing Multi Generations in the Workplace, and ADA:  Overview, Accommodations and the Interactive Process.
