The Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators is pleased to announce the 2023 GASPA Spring Conference, May 24-26, 2023, at the King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort. See a preview below of what you can expect on the agenda.
You will enjoy interacting with our keynote speaker, GSSA Superintendent in Residence, Dr. Curtis Jones. His inspiring and entertaining presentation will support and motivate HR professionals who know When the Going Gets Tough – Find HR!
GASPA will be privileged to hear from Michael Kobito, the 2023 Georgia Teacher of the Year. Dr. Mike Moody will present When People Work – They Should Not Have to Leave Their Hearts at Home.
Debi McNeal, Bryan County Schools, will present on recruitment and retention, We’re in the People Business. We’ll also hear from Courtney Holley, C.A.R.E.S.: Coaching and Retaining Educators Successfully.
In addition to his always-informative legal issues update, Phil Hartley, of Pereira, Kirby, Kinsinger and Nguyen, LLP, will present on FMLA, ADA, and WC Leave: How it All Works Together. From the Professional Standards Commission, we will hear certification updates from Dr. Kelli Young and Windy Fortenberry, as well as updates from Laurin Vonada, Dr. Penney McRoy, and Anne Marie Fenton. Dr. Buster Evans will share the latest TRS news.
Pre-Conference Sessions are planned for Wednesday morning, May 24th, and are open to all conference registrants. Presentations include the following and more:

Payment Options: All fees must be paid prior to the conference.
Registrations after April 26, 2023 will only be allowed to use the credit card option. All payments by check MUST be received by May 10, 2023.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received prior to May 3, 2023, at 4pm to be considered for reimbursement. After May 3rd, registrants will be moved to the livestream option.
